What is an SSL? 
Web Hosting services are a key link in the chain of any E-commerce transaction. This is because they store the data that makes up our Web site. SSL is based on an encryption system what is known as Private/Public Key Pairing. An e-mail can't infect your computer if you just read it. However, viruses can lurk in e-mail attachments, generally executable programs rather than simple attachments like pictures. If you open an infected attachment, the virus will be released. The best way to avoid problems is to simply not open files from unknown sources -- just delete the e-mail and the attachment will go along with it.
